It has been a very long week for us. We laid Brian's brother to rest yesterday. It was an emotionally hard day for all of us. I am now glad that Chris is at peace and no longer suffering. It was a long and tough battle that took its toll. In the end, I am glad that he went the way that he did. The day before he passed, he was alert and talking with Brian and joking around. He went to sleep that night, and slipped into a coma and never woke up. Chris did suffer at the end, but he never let it get him down. So as the days move on, we must too. But Chris will always have a special place in all of our hearts. We will miss you!
