Great Fall Day

Since the weather decided to actually resemble fall today, we decided to go to The Hollows Pumpkin Patch and get some pumpkins. The selection of pumpkins wasn't really great. Due to the wonderful weather that we have had in CNY, it really affected the pumpkins this year. After we picked out our pumpkins, it was time for Brad to play! The first thing he did was go to the corn box. It is like a sandbox, but filled with corn. It was like one giant sensory table that he could climb into and have some fun.

After I finally got him out of the corn box, he decided that he wanted to ride around on the tractors. There was about 8 peddle tractors there that the kids could ride around on. Brad and another little girl were chasing each other around with these things. And when Brad wasn't paying attention, she would ram her tractor into his!
After about an hour and half at the pumpkin farm, we left. On the way home, we stopped at Webster's Duck Pond down in the valley. Brad had a blast feeding all of the geese and ducks. This year he finally got brave and let the geese eat right out of his hands. He also thought it was funny to throw handfuls of corn into the water and watch the ducks dive for it. All he kept saying was "Look at all of the duck butts!"

When we got home, Brad and Daddy racked up all the leaves in our side yard into a giant pile. Brian then threw Brad into the pile of leaves. Brad was very unsure of this at first, then he realized that it was a lot of fun. So Brad kept racking up the leaves and jumping into the pile. Thankfully the weather was nice today and we were able to enjoy a wonderful fall day outside!

  2. We lived in "The Valley" when I was a teenager. My brothers spent most of their time at Webster's Pond. It's a great place for kids to hang out.
